I agree with the other responders. The Florida Keys has some great diving with loads of fish and usually calm seas. Also great wreck diving. We usually go to Islamorada and dive with Key Dives. They take care of all your gear from the moment you walk into the shop, switch tanks in between, and rinse and hang out. We senior divers love that kind of service. If you don't want to travel all the way, the West Palm Beach/Jupiter area is excellent. Lots of big fish, giant turtles, moray eels, and angel fish, and if your lucky, sharks. Boynton also is excellent. All this due to the proximity of the Gulf Stream.
