Imaging Foundation is "DIVING WITH A PURPOSE". On January 14 - 21, 2006 the IF team will arrive at Sunset House and launch their newest endeavor. Participants will help prepare classroom "virtual" lectures. Melissa Martinez will travel with us to Cayman to coordinate a series of short classes which will be uploaded "Live from the Caribbean" to her 3rd grade students in remote Ashland, Wisconsin. Be part of the 'faculty' as we answer student questions -- live -- and show these 'young scientists' Why, We Love Our Underwater World!
Pristine Cayman diving will begin each day. Our still and video imagery will be woven together into the daily classroom uploads. APPLE Computer will be on hand to supply equipment and expertise to insure that we successfully get kids excited about our oceans. We have everything else ... all we need is you!
The comfy, Caribbean seaside "My Bar" is just steps from our rooms AND is equipped with high speed wireless Internet. We will Dive with a Purpose, teach kids AND, as always, add key images to the Imaging Foundation collection... Photographers interested in learning about digital workflow can work alongside our professionals will learn insider secrets. Interested participants do not need ANY prior experience; just come with a willingness to learn, meet great people and make a difference.
As with all Imaging Foundation Expeditions, the cost of your trip should be tax-deductible. Check with your professional tax advisor.
