From the Valenza Trip Journal:

Day 11

We woke up later than usual... We had breakfast and then gathered at the bow of the boat for an inspirational talk. This talk's purpose was primarily to get us back in the water and also to select new leaders, who were Joe and Natalie (they also ended up being cooks:-/).

Then we chilled for a bit and got ready and geared up for our first dive. Diamond Rock was the most spectacular dive any of us had ever been on. It was like a town, filled with the vibrant colors of coral on the walls and fish in the water about us. There was not a square inch of the reef that wasn't filled to the brim with gorgeous sea life. After this wonderful experience, we returned to the boat for lunch, which was macaroni and cheese.

After lunch, we completed a few rescue knowledge reviews and then relocated to the next dive site, Man O' War Shoals. While not as beautiful as Diamond Rock, it was still chock full of beauty. Everyone was goofing around and having a good time underwater... Most people laughed so hard at Jordan tackling Tiffany, or Captain Joe showing everyone how to blow bubble rings, that they had to clear their masks many times. The dive was an overall success.

On the way back to the boat in the dinghy, we spotted a blue object free floating near shore. We went to collect it, and found it was a kickboard with "surf's up" written on it attached via some rope to a large plastic bag. When we retrieved it, a number of small fish fell out of the bag into the bottom of the dinghy. The whole group then had a new mission: return to the boat in time to rescue the fish.

Upon returning, we scrabbled to get the equipment out of the dinghy and in the process Tiffany, who was still in goof mode fell in. She then spent pretty much the rest of the time with one leg up over the engine and the rest of her hanging off the dinghy going "fishy! fishy! fishy go buh-bye!" while the rest of us scrabbled to scoop the fish out and into the ocean. Then we all broke down our gear while still laughing at Tiffany.

Then we had dinner, a delicious meal of chili and rice. After that, it was a short night for most of us, although a few did elect to do a night dive. On that dive, Logan and Tiffany spotted an octopus. The rest of us got ready for bed and collapsed into well-deserved slumber.
