Travel Documents: Beginning later this year, the State Department will institute new regulations for travelers returning from Bermuda, requiring passports or similar absolute proof of citizenship for all travelers (and, no, a voter's registration card will not cut it). Even now, a passport is your best document for travel here.
Money: $1 Bermudian = $1 American everywhere except banks. All the time. Simple.
Electricity: Same as U.S. standard; plug and play.
Time: Atlantic, one hour earlier than Eastern Time.
Weather: Spring-like most of the year, it can get windy during the winter, even though the Christmas holiday season for 2004-2005 was warm and nearly flat-calm. As Bermuda International Airport is too small to have runways for all wind conditions, it's smart to keep some cash in the kitty for an extra night of lodging, just in case you get grounded by crosswinds (it's rare, but it happens).
Returning: You will clear U.S. Customs and Immigrations in Bermuda. While you cannot leave the departure hall once you've done this, there is a small food court on site, and local musicians will entertain you.
