Puerto Rico is one of those incredible destinations that seems to lay hidden in plain sight. Most people pass through on their way to another Caribbean destination. Big mistake. This island has an unbelievable array of adventures, above and below the water. The island has a rich cultural and natural history. You’ll find forts and walled cities hundred of years old, ancient caverns, thick rainforests riddled with lovely waterfalls and secret corners, beaches with great surf and even a place called Gilligan’s Island. In the blue, off the east and west (known as Porta del Sol) coasts you should not miss exploring Desecheo Island or Mona Island. The lush and pristine La Parguera Wall included more than 30 miles of vertical adventures. Off the eastern coast, relaxing Culebra Island packs a punch underwater. And this, truly, is just the beginning of this wonderfully diverse island.
