WHERE TO EAT AND WHAT
With more than 50 different nationalities on Curacao, restaurants serve a wide variety of culinary creations. Eating establishments run the gamut from small beach-side grills to mom-and-pop local gathering spots to larger restaurants and high-end dining in resorts and casinos. According to Curacao's Tourism Board, Frommer's Guide rates Curacao as one of the four best islands to dine. Most larger establishments add a 15 percent service charge to your bill, but it doesn't always get to the waitperson. So, for exceptional service it's OK to add something extra.
