Dominican Republic Dive Guide

What to Expect
Although often associated with the ecological disaster of its Hispaniola neighbor Haiti, the Dominican Republic is an ideal destination for travelers looking for both diving diversity and modern, all-inclusive resorts that offer hard-to-find savings.

With 1,000 miles of coastline, divers can enjoy shallow reefs, shipwrecks, freshwater cave diving, deeper sites and possible encounters with humpback whales and other large animals.

Summer atmospheric temps can hit the mid-90s, while winter temps drop to the 70s. Water temps range from high 70s to low 80s, and visibility ranges from 70 to 100 feet.
