The 14 passenger catamaran Kona Aggressor II completed an extensive, scheduled dry dock in December 2006. Exterior work included painting, inspections of all steering components, and propeller polishing. Compressor fill lines were replaced, new air/nitrox storage banks were installed, and an additional hyper-filtration chamber was added to provide even cleaner breathing air for divers. Guests will enjoy work completed on the vessel's interior and personal spaces. New carpet was installed throughout the boat, bathrooms received new fixtures, and a new Marine Air Chiller air-conditioning system was installed.
The U.S. Coast Guard conducted an inspection before the boat re-entered the water. "The Coast Guard Lieutenant was thorough and went through the vessel closely. He was extremely impressed with the hull repairs," says Capt. Dan Ruth.
On December 23, 2006, the boat re-entered the water and is looking great for her upcoming scuba diving charters.
