The Challenge Continues

The competition is heating up as divers vie for the top prizes in the 2010 "I'm a PADI Pro for the Love of It" Testimonial Contest, which ends on 30 September, 2010. And, with twenty five prizes up for grabs including PADI-branded iPod Nanos^® and Go PRO Challenge Winner's Circle Jackets, you don't want to miss out on the contest!

Remember, the deadline for your submissions to the contest is 30 September 2010. To participate, simply earn a PADI professional-level rating (Divemaster or above) before 30 September and then submit a captioned photo, home video, slideshow, or written testimonial telling how you became a PADI Pro for the Love of It! There is no entry form to fill out; just send in your most passionate testimonial about your love for living the dive life as PADI Pro. The PADI Pros who submit the top 25 entries will take home a prize!

Record Breaking Dive Against Debris Event in Thailand

September's Debris Month of Action saw thousands of divers across the world gear up and dive in to remove dangerous rubbish, nets, fishing traps and household waste from our ocean. On the island of Phuket, Thailand, new records in the fight against debris were smashed on 30th September. Over 650 AWARE divers and beach cleaners took part in the biggest Dive Against Debris event in the world with PADI dive centers working together as part of a recently formed group called Go Eco Phuket.
