For the fifth year the luxury trimaran CUAN LAW will be the exclusive home for a PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDC) as it sails among the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Cuan Law is very spacious and stable--105 ft/31m long with a 44ft/14m beam. PADI Course Director Barbara DeClerque will conduct the program.
The dates are August 20-29 with the Instructor Exam on August 30,31. To take full advantage of being on this lovely sailing vessel potential candidates are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible in order to start preparing. In addition the class size will be limited to 10 IDC and 2 IDC Staff candidates to give everyone plenty of personal attention.
The all inclusive cost of the 12 night program is $3525 . This covers tuition, diving during the IDC, unlimited fun diving, accommodations during the IDC and IE (double occupancy) , meals, soft drinks and snacks, post IE party and all taxes and service charges. There are one or two cabins available for single occupancy for an additional cost. (Note PADI fees and books are not included.)
What sets this IDC apart from any others is location location. Exploring secluded uninhabited islands for confined and open water diving. Gourmet buffet meals served on the stern deck.
The time you would take in a standard IDC to move from classroom to pool to open water to hotel room can be used to relax a little. There is ample opportunity for well prepared candidates to take advantage of some of the BVI's beautiful diving--caverns, wrecks and the captain's "secret places." And kayaks and hobie cats to play with.
Candidates live aboard Cuan Law and all aspects of the IDC take place on or from the boat as she sails through the beautiful British Virgin Islands.
