Halcyon's reputation is built on its dedication to innovation and quality. Divers from around the world turn to us for their gear because of a simple formula that we've always followed:

Dive, design, prototype, dive, refine, dive, build, dive.

Repeat as necessary.

Our latest creation? The Halcyon Eclipse wing. Think of it as a Pioneer wing gone to the gym. Halcyon builds the Eclipse's outer shell from 1680-denier ballistic nylon. We then add an inner bladder constructed from the same puncture-resistant 400-denier Nylon inner-bladder material used in the Explorer. In other words, the Eclipse is a low profile, exploration-grade wing that leaves all other single tank designs in its shadow. Streamlined. Ruggedized. Another example of Halcyon taking the game to the next level.

The Eclipse wings share the Pioneer's long, narrow, wing profile to support the diver's tank along his or her entire length, preventing unnecessary drag and minimizing effort. A circular zipper around the inside of the wing allows for easy inspection and replacement of the interior bladder.

A choice of lift capacities helps to maximize comfort and streamlining while accounting for various buoyancy requirements that result from differences in tank size, exposure protection, or equipment requirements.

Eclipse wings require a single tank adapter to mount with your Secure Harness backplate system. Pioneer wings continue to utilize Halcyon’s adapter-free design and only require a set of Halcyon cam straps for mounting.

Eclipse wings are available in 30 and 40 lbs lift capacities. All Eclipse wings are CE-certified for sale in the European Community.

All Halcyon wings now come with our newly designed precision-flow inflator. The internal components and buttons are 316 stainless steel. Halcyon’s inflator provides a controlled low-volume air flow to allow the diver to fine tune their buoyancy and resist freezing in extremely cold conditions. The Halcyon inflator is another Halcyon innovation that will only be found on Eclipse, Pioneer, and Explorer wings.

A Perfect Picture of "Sophisticated Simplicity"

In the October issue, Sport Diver continues its coverage of rear-cell BCs in the popular Test Dive department. Read about how Halcyon redefines the way to build a top-end technical BC as we test-dive the Eclipse.

Here's a preview of our review... "...Rugged simplicity has always been a hallmark of Halcyon equipment, and the Eclipse is no exception. Like other components of the Multifunction Compensation system, it is a refined version of a time-tested concept that has been honed to perfection by some of the world's best technical divers, then built to their demanding standards.... These are Halcyon's single-tank Pioneer wings - on steroids." (Pierce Hoover)
