Oahu has two large dive wrecks not to be overlooked, and several types of whales make their way through Hawaiian waters. Maui also offers numerous sites and protected areas; look don't touch. One of the favorites is the sunken volcano crater called Molokini. Maui is also whale watching territory during the Humpback migration season.Kona has underwater lava tubes, caverns, drop-offs, dolphins and giant mantas. Some Kona dive operators offer a manta night dive. Kona is also home port for the diving live-aboard, Kona Aggressor.
