WHAT TO BRING
The Cayman Islands are part of the British Overseas Territory, and travelers from the United States will need to bring valid passports for entry and to get through customs. Also, you'll need to have:
- A tourist identification card
- Proof of ID
- Customs declaration card
DOCUMENTS
You'll need to bring the following items for entry into the Cayman Islands:
- A valid passport good for six months after your return home

WHAT TO PACK
With moderate temperatures year-round, summer-style clothing is the rule. However, if you plan on dining at one of the high-end restaurants, some require jackets for men and evening attire for the ladies. A cover-up for bathing suits is recommended and a light sweater or jacket for occasional cooler evenings in the winter months. In general, be sure to bring the following:
- Sunscreen (lots)
- Hat
- Bathing suits
- Cover ups
- Sandals and comfortable shoes if you plan on walking
- Closed-toe shoes if you plan to rent a bike or motorbike
- Evening attire for the high-end restaurants
- Lip gloss with sunscreen
- Disposable cameras
- C-card
- Comfortable loose clothing that breathes
- Passport
- Electricity is 100v if you are bringing electronics
