The brightest of all the non rechargeable 8 "D" cell lights on the market, and considerably brighter than 8 "C" cell lights with their smaller size reflector.
It features a special halogen lamp producing an incredibly bright 14 watt penetrating medium spot beam. Batteries provide 4-6 hour burn time. Cost of replacement "D" size batteries is the same as the less powerful "C" size batteries.
The unique fail-safe quick-release RCD clamp is simple and provides easy opening and closing of the light. This system has been widely accepted as the most dependable choice for rental service. All other 8-cell lights utilize a screw-on cap that can stick or crack.
