COOL FACTOR
Uses a Polar heart-rate monitor to keep a super-accurate bead on diver workload and fine-tune deco calculations like never before.
KEY FEATURESA brand-new platform for dive computers, the Galileo has an extra-large dot-matrix display that can be customized by the diver. A new menu navigation system uses push buttons and is so intuitive it requires little or no instruction. Plus, a built-in digital compass works at any (and we mean ANY) angle. Our favorite feature: The diver decides what information the computer uses in its deco calculations. This includes either heart rate or air consumption or both. It can default to the most conservative or least conservative of the two during a dive, and divers can turn both off and just dive the original algorithm.
