Roatan, Bay Islands
Founded in 1982, CoCo View Resort has developed a reputation as the place to go for no-hassle diving and a laid-back lifestyle. You can shore dive whenever the mood hits you, ride a dive boat to one of Roatan best dives, eat more than you should at the buffet, or simply sit and enjoy the ocean view from one of our hammocks. More than that, though, is the instant camaraderie that flourishes here every week. People arriving from all over the world become good buddies within minutes and lifelong friends in a matter of days. Maybe it's something in the water.
The Clubhouse is the social center of the resort, with dining, the bar, games and sitting areas. To either side are over-the-water bungalows and cabanas and the water's-edge oceanfront rooms.
For a different experience, try renting one of the privately owned beach houses on Playa Miguel. They are fully furnished tropical hideaways, and guests have access to all of CoCo View's facilities. Optional scuba and meal plans are also available through the resort.
A lot of thought has gone into making the diving as convenient as possible at CoCo View Resort. With its on-site dive center, there's minimal carrying or handling of your gear. Four specially outfitted 50-foot dive boats comfortably carry guests to our many sites. Special excursions include diving with dolphins and shark diving at Cara a Cara. The CoCo View shore dives are a perennial favorite, with access to two walls, a natural channel and the wreck of the 140-foot-long Prince Albert, which is accessible 24 hours a day.
