Hey gang, We're doing it again! The PADI Diving Society is going on safari an Ocean Safari, that is. During May 1-8 2004, Anthony's Key Resort on the picturesque island of Roatan will be transformed into Society headquarters as members from all over the world come together to dive, dance, compete and play.
What will we be doing while we're there? Well, you can bet we'll be diving a lot! We'll explore pristine reefs like Mary's Place and Hole in the Wall, and massive wrecks including the 300-foot-long Odyssey. We'll also be learning, with daily seminars on marine life, better buoyancy, photo sense and more. We'll be picnicking on beautiful white sand beaches, hunting for buried treasure, swinging through the trees (really!) and stalking photo quarry.
Society members looking for a little competition in their vacation can compete in the Safari Challenge a Survivor-like competition designed to test your brains as well as your brawn and the Photo Safari, where any shooter from novice to pro can be the winner. Prizes for Safari events include a trip for two with Windjammer Barefoot Cruises and dive equipment by TUSA.
