The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) retains close ties with the United States and travel there is generally uncomplicated. The languages spoken are Chuukese and English, and most locals speak at least some English. Entry for U.S. citizens is simple and a valid passport is generally all that is necessary.
CHUUK -- HOW TO GET THERE
If you are flying to Chuuk, there is a small airport in the capital city of Weno. Most islands in Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) have airports of some kind and many offer island-hopper service between islands.

Chuuk is one of four island states located between the Marshall Islands and Guam, just 7 degrees above the Equator.

According to the Chuuk Historical Preservation Office, Chuuk has been inhabited for about 2,000 years.
