HOW TO GET THERE

Travelers visiting the Keys by air can arrive at
Miami international Airport and rent a car and drive the remaining distance or there are two smaller airports on the Keys themselves. One is in Key West and the other is in Marathon. The main drag stretches from Miami to Key West, about 113 miles of road… much of it over water. The road trip to Key West from Miami can take four hours (or longer depending upon traffic and time of year).

Other modes of transportation include the Greyhound Shuttle that leaves from Miami and hits all the islands, the Keys Airport Shuttle, or by ferry.
