1979, Sail Caribbean has led thousands of teens on summer adventures centered on learning, leadership, personal growth, and service. Each of our 8 programs has a different focus, and all our programs offer scuba diving. Students who choose to live aboard 50’ yachts develop seamanship skills in the British Virgin Islands, Leeward and Windward Islands. In addition to the full suite of scuba diving courses, our sailing adventures offer cultural immersion, marine biology and community service. Our land-based program located on Eleuthera in the Bahamas is specifically for divers. This program combines diving with marine biology study, youth outreach and environmental service. Sail Caribbean is the only summer adventure program to have its own year-round diving operation. SAIL CARIBBEAN DIVERS has 3 land-based locations in the BVI, a fleet of 4 custom-built dive boats, and a 16-person year-round dive staff. We offer Discover Scuba through Divemaster certifications, 20 PADI specialty courses and also the sought after Open Water Scuba Instructor Course. Programs run for 10 to 24 days from early June through mid-August and are geared to teens 12 to 18, plus a 6 credit course for college students. 2009 tuition ranges from $3295 to $5695.
