This year's Cayman's Carnival, affectionately named Batabano, is scheduled for May 1-3 2008. Thousands of locals and tourists flock to the streets of central George Town to watch the street parade: a colourful display of cultural costumes, rhythmic soca and calypso music, and a host of other surprises!
After the parade, indulge in local delicacies such as Stew Conch, Cayman-style lobster, Turtle Stew, and our infamous heavy cakes!
Stay tuned for live performances and dancing in the streets under the stars! This weekend is packed-full with music, dancing, food, and good times that can't be beat!
