Bajo Del DiabloThis shot was taken off Caño Island at one of the rocky pinnacles, known as Bajo del Diablo. The location's offshore location and sometimes strong ocean currents ensure the water is rich in nutrients, allowing for a large array of coral species to thrive on these volcanic seamounts. During our visit, the surge was quite strong, which made the underwater photography a challenge. As the “model,” it was tough for me to stay in the right position long enough to snap good photos. However, our photographer, Tanya G. Burnett , was talented enough at both diving and shooting to score plenty of killer images.
