Have you ever wanted to be warmer on a dive? The fourth element XEROTHERM advanced base layer system for drysuit diving is designed to improve a diver's thermal protection, with minimal bulk and buoyancy, and is now available in the USA and Canada.

Used by most professional divers in the UK, the Danish Navy, British Special Forces, British Antarctic Survey and the filmmakers behind the BBC series, Blue Planet and Planet Earth, the XEROTHERM has proven itself in the most extreme diving environments on Earth and is suitable for use underneath all manufacturer's drysuit undergarments.

Made using one of the fastest wicking fabrics in existence, the XEROTHERM offers greater thermal protection without significantly contributing to bulk or buoyancy, simply by managing the moisture next to the wearer's skin.

Any moisture from perspiration or suit leaks is wicked away, maintaining a dry zone next to the skin.  This provides a more efficient insulating layer, greater comfort, and keeps the wearer warmer for longer during a dive.

This wicking performance also helps a diver to get the most out of his or her primary thermal protection, necessitating fewer washes (crucial to the longevity of thinsulate type undergarments) and preventing the undersuit from becoming soaked with perspiration.

"The XEROTHERM is quite simply superb." said Doug Allan, award winning wildlife film maker, after using the base layer during a shoot for the BBC series Planet Earth, in water temperatures of 35F.

The XEROTHERM is thin enough to be conveniently worn underneath regular clothing on the way to and from the dive, and it is fully machine washable and durable. Its four way stretch characteristics mean that the XEROTHERM will not restrict movement in any way and it will fit a great range of body shapes and sizes.

Also available is the XEROTHERM PLUS system, which includes an additional sleeveless vest to maximise the protection of the body core, without adding any additional layers to the arms, thus also maximising freedom of movement.
