In 1979, SCUBAPRO UWATEC was the first dive manufacturer to introduce a regulator system specifically designed for use as a “back up” or octopus breathing system. This advanced innovation was designated A.I.R. 2 (Alternate Inflation Regulator). We are proud to extend this unique product line with the introduction of the next evolution of this SCUBAPRO milestone product. In keeping with our 2006 regulator design “language”, the new AIR 2 is lighter and more compact. Designed around the proven and reliable mechanism inside, it features larger and more ergonomic control push buttons, a new soft anti-scratch diaphragm cover and a very well integrated new optimized angled mouthpiece.
