Are you looking for a unique underwater experience?
Global Vision International offers you the opportunity to spend between 5 and 20 weeks as part of a marine conservation expedition in the pristine waters of Mexico, The Red Sea or the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
Not only will you have the opportunity to gain your first diving qualifications or pursue higher levels of qualification, but expedition members will also receive comprehensive training in marine surveying techniques, fish and coral identification, first aid and all the skills necessary for successful expedition life. Expedition members are also involved in educating local communities and may have the opportunity to learn a new language as well as explore the surrounding culture and country. GVI's marine conservation expeditions are not just fancy diving courses. Working alongside scientists and research specialists, you will learn to appreciate the wonders of the natural underwater world and make a crucial difference to the conservation of some of the world's most endangered habitat.
Global Vision International has affordable and challenging opportunities for all those adventurous enough. Prices for marine conservation expeditions start at US$2430 for 5 weeks (price includes all diving equipment, food, accommodation, training and around 8 to 10 dives a week). No experience is necessary as full training is given but you must be aged between 18 and 65. Departures run throughout the year.
