Discover untold mysteries beneath the sea at Saint Lucia’s 22 prime dive sites including walls, reefs, wrecks and swim-throughs. Its warm waters (78-80°F), protected bays with very little chop and the Piton Mountain make it irresistible to divers. Located at the base of Gros Piton, the Coral Gardens offer breathtaking scenery above and below the Caribbean’s surface. Superman’s Flight was named for a scene in the movie Superman-lI, in which the hero flew between Saint Lucia’s landmark mountains and down the cliff of Petit Piton. Below this sheer cliff, the drift dive simulates this flight as divers continue along the underwater wall, propelled by the currents. At Anse La Raye, interesting formations appear along the slope. The shallow wall provides another amazing drift dive, declared by many to be the best in Saint Lucia. The Key Hole Pinnacle has been voted one of the “10 Best Dive Sites” by Caribbean Travel & Life. Wreck diving in Saint Lucia is really flourishing. The Wreck of the Lesleen M, located just south of Marigot Bay near Anse Cochon, is covered in soft coral, providing a refuge for juvenile fish of several species and perfect for novice divers. For advanced divers, the wreck of the Daini Koyomaru, an intact Japanese vessel teeming with eels and countless fish, invites infinite exploration.
