Full Moon Mating Season

Divers who visit Isla Marisol Resort in June and July under the full moon will experience mating season for batfish and Caribbean reef sharks. Sightings on a single dive have included up to 17 batfish, found in 40 to 50 feet of water at The Canyon, and Caribbean reef sharks mating in 60 to 80 feet of water at Front Porch.
