Kids Sea Camp will be held at Buddy Dive Resort for its fourth year June 7 - June 14 and June 14 - June 21. During the seven-night, six-day scuba camp, ages 4 and up will participate in SASY, which teaches kids to snorkel and use a version of scuba gear; ages 8 and up will participate in PADI Seal Team and learn how to scuba dive through aqua missions; ages 10 and up will be fully certified with the PADI Junior Open Water program; and certified kids ages 10 to 15 will have their own private dive boat and instructors. Buddy Dive Resort will host an underwater graduation, a trip to the Donkey Sanctuary, an island tour and a painting project with marine artist Ron Steven, a.k.a. Rogest.
Rogest will work with the kids on the marine art project and on an outreach program for local children. Sport Diver magazine will host a treasure hunt, with prizes that include Scubapro dive gear, SeaLife ReefMaster underwater cameras, UK underwater lights and PADI hats and T-shirts. Kids Sea Camp is a PADI Diving Society event, and each family will receive a free PADI Society membership and six issues of Sport Diver.
