The concept behind Sunset House has always been quite simple; “treat guests with the same warm hospitality that we would give a friend in our own home”. It is a tradition passed down from the proprieter’s mother, Ms. Hebe Briggs Connors, who did just that almost 50 years ago; inviting travelers into her own expanded home, the beginning of Sunset House in late 1958.
Starting in November and running for the next 12 months, Sunset House plans to celebrate this special event with a series of specials and celebrations. Tracking down long time guests, the first divers certified at the resort, romance packages, photo contests and much more await the dive community. With its legendary reef just steps from your room, the infamous bar, spectacular restaurant and an award winning dive operation right on premise, this upcoming year will truly be a divers dream.

Categories include “Best Family”, “Most Dramatic”, “Best with Amphitrite” and “Most Romantic”. Prizes include stays at the resort and dives with their award winning dive operation, Sunset Divers.
