The USVI offers a multitude of undersea pleasures What to ExpectSt. Thomas, St John, and St. Croix offer distinctly different underwater experiences. Most dive sites are shallow, and feature low to mid-relief reef structure. St. Thomas is the best wreck site, while St. John is ideal for new divers with its shallow, lively coral reefs that are largely free of currents. St. Croix has the most to offer advanced divers, including one of the finest walls in the Caribbean. Visibility is best during summer months, and swells may also be smaller at this time. Air temps range from 80 to 85 degrees, water temps from the upper 70s to mid-80s, and visibility averages between 60 to 100 feet.Tourism and TravelU.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism800-372-USVIHotels, Resorts and OperatorsAAA St Thomas Diving Club877-538-8734 Admiralty Dive Center/Windward Holiday Inn888-900-3483 Anchor Dive Center800-532-3483 Aqua Action Dive Center340-775-6285 Bolongo Bay Beach Club & Villas800-524-4746 Blue Island Divers340-774-2001 Cane Bay Dive Shop800-338-3843 or 340-773-9913 Chris Sawyer Diving Center340-775-7320Coki Beach Dive Club800-471-COKI or 340-775-4220 Cruz Bay Watersports340-776-6234 Dive Experience340-775-3307 Dive In800-524-2090 or 340-775-6100 Divi Carina Bay Resort & Casino340-773-9700Low Key Watersports800-835-7718 or 340-693-8999 Maho Bay Watersports800-392-9004 or 340-776-6226 Mile Mark Watersports800-523-DIVE Paradise Watersports340-779-4999 Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina800-524-2090 Score/VI Divers877-773-6045 or 340-773-6045 Scubawest800- 352-0107 or 340-772-3701 Sea Trade340-774-2001 Secret Harbour Beach Resort800-524-2250 St. Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventures877-567-1367 or 340-773-5994 St. Thomas Diving Club877-538-8734 The Waves at Cane Bay800-545-0603 or 340-778-1805 Underwater Safaris340-774-1350 Virgin Islands Ecotours340-779-2155 Wyndham Sugar Bay Beach Club800-Wyndham or 340-777-7100
