The Apeks XTX200, the company’s flagship regulator, gets high marks for its excellent breathing characteristics: well-designed user adjustments, great hose swivel connection on the second stage, and cool-looking chrome finish on the compact, environmentally sealed, over-balanced diaphragm first stage. The new XTX pneumatically balanced second stage has left/right reversibility. Although it’s shipped in a standard right-hand configuration, it can be reversed into a left-hand configuration by an authorized technician. All medium pressure ports are now 3/8” so that the second stage can mount to either side of the first stage.
