Caribbean Sea Camp 2007 August 10th - 17th At The Little Cayman Research Centre

The Little Cayman Research Centre is a project of the Central Caribbean Marine Institute. Sustaining Biodiversity thought research, education, and outreach. Imagine waking up with the turquoise Caribbean sea at your doorstep, diving snorkeling, sea kayaking, following sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, and a myriad of life on the coral reef. Experience this, and more during the Caribbean Sea Camp held at the Little Cayman Research Centre.

CCMI has operated the Caribbean Marine Biology and Conservation Sea Camp, a marine biology and conservation program for the past seven years. Divers and non-divers will be accepted into the program for high school students interested in learning about marine biology and conservation directly from scientists and graduate students.

The Caribbean Sea Camp is open to students 14 - 18 years old, who must be entering or in highschool and be in good academic standing. We only admit students who are interested in helping resolve issues facing the marine realm today. Qualified students are admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis and we encourage you to register early. A maximum of 16 students will be admitted.
