Siren Liveaboard Fleet Offering Rebreather Scuba Courses in 2012

Starting in 2012, Worldwide Dive and Sail will be offering guests the opportunity to participate in two of PADI’s revolutionary new scuba courses: “Rebreather Diver” and “Advanced Rebreather Diver.” Each of the company’s six live-aboard yachts sailing Southeast Asia will be supplied with the Poseidon MKVI rebreather units, the world’s first fully automated, fully closed-rebreather which, with the PADI training model, will be suitable for recreational diving.

Worldwide Dive & Sail’s six liveaboards will have the Poseidon MKVI units onboard and available both for the PADI scuba courses and as rental units for certified rebreather divers. PADI Scuba Course Director Thomas Erbe will be traveling between Thailand, the Maldives, Philippines and Indonesia to introduce the “Rebreather Revolution” and train all Cruise Directors to instructor level.
