An adult crab — about the size of a human palm — catches a ride on this crown jellyfish. This amazing shot was the grand prize winner of our 2016 Underwater Photo Contest. Be jelly.

Pelagia
Pelagia noctiluca is a jellyfish in the family Pelagiidae. This species of jellyfish, known in Europe as the mauve stinger, is widely distributed in all warm and temperate waters of the world's oceans, including the Mediterranean Sea.
