Countdown to Conservation 2009
Save the planet Earn great prizes
Each month in the Project Aware column you learn about threats to our natural playground and now we're challenging you to take action. Countdown to Conservation 2009 is a yearlong initiative to do your part in protecting the environment. Each month, we'll offer a specific task to accomplish and ask you to post proof of your achievement on a special online forum at http://forums.sportdiver.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13. At the end of each month we'll select one participant to receive a special gift from PADI. And at the end of the contest, one lucky winner will receive a new Body Glove ECO wetsuit made from planet-friendly, non-petroleum neoprene. They'll also be recognized for their efforts with a profile in a 2010 issue of Sport Diver. So take up the fight. Your own personal satisfaction should be reward enough, but cool prizes can't hurt.
