FEATURES
Bare layers three fabrics in its SB System drysuit — SB stands for stretch breathable — to create a next-to-skin, waterproof and comfortable fit. Testers agreed, noting the suit, which tied with DUI for Testers’ Choice, provided excellent range of movement, with little or no squeeze. The breathable aspect of each layer — two types of nylon and spandex — is designed to wick moisture away from the body, which kept testers warm and dry. The “system” in its SB System means multiple options of undergarment layers can be used in various combinations. The suit’s valve accessibility, valve positioning, air shifting and ease of donning/ doffing scores were all very good to excellent. The front-entry zipper made for a truly self-donning suit, although there is a definite “feel” to making the zipper watertight. The suspender tabs are nice, but suspenders themselves are optional; we recommend you purchase them, because the suit isn’t as comfortable without them.

BOTTOM LINE
This versatile suit is designed for a wide range of temperatures, and scored well in a number of categories.
