Saturday, 4th May

We welcome our 11 guests at 4pm on the Turks and Caicos Aggressor in Turtle Cove Marina, at Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.

Once the guests set up their gear, we showed them their staterooms and offered some snacks and drinks as Captain Mateo started the initial welcome safety briefing, followed by a delicious dinner prepared by our chef Andres.

After dessert, our guests went to their rooms for some rest and to get ready to depart the next morning.

Sunday, 5th May

We departed at 6:30 am. After breakfast and the mandatory dive and deck briefings, it was finally time for diving. We started diving in the Amphitheater for our checkout dive and the open course's first day for Megan and Matt. And once the buoyancy check was finalized, everybody got to explore our first dive site of the day with a giant spotted eagle ray, lots of trumpet fish, scrawled filefish, rock beauty, channel crab, and lobster. Everybody was super stoked with the first dive, and in the second dive, we got to see stingrays, a big grouper, and two beautiful porcupine fish. During lunch we moved to our second dive site called Coral Stairway. It was an afternoon with perfect conditions and great weather. We got to enjoy our dives, and we encountered reef sharks, a huge lobster, black durgon, Spanish hogfish, jawfish, queen triggerfish, flamingo tongues, and again, a spotted eagle ray. After dinner and the night dive briefing, we got back to the water to see spotted eels, channel crabs, corallimorphs, reef sharks, queen angelfish, and lots of sea pearls. After some hot chocolate with Turks and Caicos Cream, everybody went to sleep.

Monday, 6th May

Early in the morning, we woke up and moved to Gullies. This incredible dive site gifted us in the two morning dives with reef sharks, barracudas, blennies, a big turtle, bridled pufferfish, a cleaning station of Pederson shrimps, and some sexy shrimps. As soon as our divers took a shower, we started our engines and headed to French Cay to dive in G-Spot with Ceci, a stunning wall dive with reef sharks, big snappers, goldface toby, flounders, banded clinging crab, a juvenile queen triggerfish, golden tail eel, spotted moray eel, yellowhead jawfish, nurse sharks, and again, another spotted eagle ray.

For our night dive, we got lots of action on our famous shark night dive with Johny, our dive guide. We had a great number of reef sharks and nurse sharks trying to have a bite while our guests were astonished by the crowd.

Tuesday 7th May

All the guests got up after a great night’s sleep and had a lovely breakfast of Napoli Eggs and bacon, prepared by Chef Andres.

Everybody seems very excited to dive on Double D, where we saw more reef sharks, spotted moray eels, queen angelfish, and trumpet fish, but the best thing was when returning to the boat, we could be in the water with a friendly dolphin trying to catch the jacks that are usually under the boat. In the second dive, the dolphin was still around, so our guests have amazing pictures of it. For lunch our Mexican chef made a tribute to his roots and delighted us with tacos gobernador while we were moving back to West Caicos to dive in Spanish Anchor. In those dives we got to see some lobsters, sharks, honeycomb cowfish, barracudas, and some tiny lionfish.

Wednesday 8th May

We started our day moving to Boat Cove to get some refuge from the wind and swell. In the morning dives, we got to see a huge turtle, lots of hamlets, reef sharks, barracudas, snapper, garden eels, and a queen triggerfish. After lunch, we went to The Gullies, an amazing dive site for the next three. We saw a turtle, baby garden eels, queen angelfish, barracudas, juvenile slender filefish, puffer fish, and peacock flounders. After the BBQ ribs that Andres prepared for us, we went for our night dive to see lots of soapfish, roughback shrimp, channel crab, coral banded shrimp, octopuses, and spotted garden eels.

Thursday, 9th May

Another amazing sunrise this morning here in West Caicos. We moved to Elephant Ear Canyon, one of the favorite dive sites of the crew, so the guests and crew feel all energetic and excited about today. We got to see some turtles eating, batfish, maculated flounder, peacock flounder, grouper, ocean triggerfish, and, of course, reef sharks. During lunch we went to The Dome and, of course, played the video of the ‘reality show.’ We did our 3rd dive in the beautiful wall where we saw some lobsters, sharks, triggerfish, sergeant majors, and sandtail fish. In the Dome we got lots of blennies, anemones with clinging banded crabs, Pederson shrimps, lots of damselfishes, and queen angelfish. After dinner, we did our last night dive. The Dome gifted us with squids, octopuses, spotted moray eels, sleeping lobsters, stingrays, crabs, and sharks.

Friday, 10th May

Another gorgeous morning here, and we did our last dive in the Sharks Hotel, so we had the right tide to enter again to Turtle Cove Marina. We got to see in the beautiful wall some reef sharks, yellow-headed jawfish with eggs, lobsters, moray eels, and a tiny boxfish.

Early in the afternoon we had our traditional wine and cheese and celebrated our Iron Divers.

We all had a great evening together, and on Saturday morning it was time for the guests to depart the Aggressor for their flight back home.
