Explorer Ventures has curated a trip that’s a unique blend of topside and underwater adventures. You’ll make up to five dives daily, plus have the opportunity to hop ashore on three optional land tours to experience the local Caribbean culture. The yacht has two itineraries: Begin in St. Maarten and end in St. Kitts, or reverse the trip and begin in St. Kitts.

Saba is one of the most dramatic volcanic islands in the Caribbean, and its spectacular scenery is found underwater too. You’ll explore soaring pinnacles such as Diamond Rock and gorgeous reefs and walls. Off St. Kitts, you’ll discover wrecks, including the River Taw, and healthy finger reefs, such as Paradise Reef. All diving is done directly from the vessel’s expansive dive deck. Each guest has a personal dive gear bin. Photographers will appreciate the large camera table, as well as separate rinse tanks and charging stations.

In 2018, it was the first liveaboard company in the world to be accredited as a “symbiotic partner” with Green Fins, a joint initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme and Reef-World Foundation. Explorer Ventures assisted Green Fins in developing sustainable policies targeted to liveaboards. M/V Caribbean Explorer II was the beta tester and spearheaded the implementation of the program’s sustainability measures, which are still in place today.
