The Levo BC from Subgear combines a high lift capacity with a simplified harness. The back-‐mounted air cell provides 56 pounds of lift and is more than adequate for cold-‐water use. A bungee style restraint system keeps the air cell trim underwater. Up front, the Levo’s harness gives divers maximum freedom of movement, with adjustable shoulder straps, a sternum strap and a simple waistband. The waistband is made from two-‐inch webbing and can be accessorized with D-‐rings or pockets as needed. Two weight pouches ride near the diver’s hips and the Levo’s three dump valves make buoyancy adjustments possible from nearly any swimming position. The bottom line: The Levo is big on function and low on frills. It’s a workhorse BC for everyday diving yet easily packed for trips to paradise.
