Galapagos Fishing Monitored

A 70-foot patrol boat with three Ecuadorian soldiers and a pair of biologists will be permanently stationed off Darwin Island to monitor illegal fishing activities and conduct research. Darwin is the northernmost island in the famed Galapagos archipelago, which is considered one of the seven underwater wonders of the world. Herb Frie, a conservationist who owns the Galapagos Aggressor I and II, donated $37,000 to this worthy project.
