Vivid-Pix, the inventor of underwater-image improvement software, unveiled Vivid-Pix Land & Sea software for improving vacation and travel photos at the Diving Equipment Marketing Association (DEMA) convention in Orlando, FL. The software, available online and from affiliate resellers, is based on Vivid-Pix's patented image-correction technology.

Due to the unique lighting conditions and buoyancy challenges of taking colorful, sharp, bright pictures underwater, Vivid-Pix’s first product was developed for the needs of divers. These enthusiasts utilize various lighting, lens filters, and difficult-to-use software to improve their images. Utilizing Vivid-Pix software, it is now fast and easy to improve images with a three-step process:

1) Select one or more pictures

2) Choose one adjusted image from the 9 “Fixed-Pix” generated by the patented algorithm

3) Save the Vivid-Pix fixed image, or adjust easy-to-use sliders to fine-tune.

Vivid-Pix solves with one-click the common vacation photo problems — like too light, too dark, backlit, tilted, and "too blue." Land & Sea uses the same workflow as Vivid-Pix's acclaimed Scuba Software, but a second “Land-Tuned” algorithm is applied to topside images to further improve the nine-up “Fixed-Pix” user experience. It is then as easy as clicking "Save" or using sliders to fine-tune the image.
